New crop dates announcement
Hi Ladies,
Well here are the new dates for your diaries:
* Obviously we have the 3rd March booked 10am to 6pm (or later if there is enough demand. It is not too late to book your place). You can register your interest here and we will get in touch with you.
* Next date is Saturday March 31st 10am to 6pm
*Then we have a WEEKEND booked 6pm Friday 27th April to 4pm Sunday 29th April. We will have places for day scrappers too on either the Saturday and Sunday. The accommodation is dormitory style - clean, comfortable and simple and on the farm so no excuse not to scrap 24 hours a day!
Future dates will hopefully coincide with the last Saturday of the month.
We are getting alot of initial interest in these crops - it is a lovely big space, with plenty of natural light, so the more the merrier!!

What is Scrapbooking? What is a Crop?
Scrapbooking is a craft, enjoyed by thousands and thousands of people (mainly women) around the world. It is a hobby which involves displaying photos with an artistic flair, using archival products (acid-free) to preserve your photographs for future generations. It is a fun way of being creative, it preserves precious memories in the form of photos and journalling and of course, it is a great way of meeting new friends.
Scrapbooking can be as complicated or as easy as you want to make it, techniques and styles come in and out of vogue but everyone has their own preferences. You may like to doodle or sew onto paper, use bright contemporary colours or maybe vintage pretty patterns. You may like to use wire and beads, paint, play with fonts and words or you may be you like to do a bit of everything. Inspiration is all around us, once you are a scrapbooker you never look at buttons, scraps of paper, fabric samples or photograph opportunities in the same way again!
The aim of Doodling Daisies is to give scrapbookers a venue to meet in the Maidstone area of Kent and work on your scrapbooks. This meeting is called a 'Crop'. It is a great way of meeting new people, seeing other people's scrapbooks and getting inspiration, working on your latest layouts and of course meeting up with friends (new and old) for a chat and a laugh.
We at Doodling Daisies will arrange a crop every month and a few times a year we plan to organise a residential weekend, so that we can all scrap into the night and make a real weekend of it! Dont forget to bookmark this site to find all the dates we have booked.
